And here are some of the mini-leis that many of you have requested. These little darlings are much lighter (and less expensive) than my "more is not enough" statement pieces :-)

As you can tell, I am not good at keeping up with the blog! It's been super busy since I last blogged in May: my daughter got married, my Mom closed her home and moved to a retirement village here in Pendleton, I did eight shows, attended the ISGB Gathering, took three classes, and hosted Thanksgiving and two Christmases. But now it's January and I am tucked in to the studio thinking of spring jewelry and sending in art fair applications. I've been working on some ideas that have been percolating in the back of my mind for a while. These are my chunky floral bracelets with ribbon extenders converting them into necklaces.

BIG NEWS!
My big news is my acceptance into the CCA (Center for Creative Arts) Gallery in Zionsville! CCA is the oldest continuously operating cooperative art gallery in Indiana and I am honored to be a part of it. My work goes into the gallery tomorrow (June 1st) and will be in the glass showcase just inside the door. So finally, my friends and customers can find my work on a continual gallery setting.

Time for the Women in Art Fair
Time to get ready for the Eiteljorg Museum's Women in Art Fair this Saturday, March 26 from 10-5. I have some new spring lovelies for you all to see, so come out and join. On a disappointing note, I have been wait-listed for both the Madison, Indiana Chautauqua of the Arts in September and the Covington Art Fair in Ft. Wayne in June. Seems there is a lot of competition for jewelry spots at big shows!
